CARE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Taking care of our products helps keep them beautiful and lasting for years to come. We've crafted these items with love, and by following the simple care tips below, you can ensure they stay soft, vibrant, and comforting. Whether it's cotton, wool, or kapok, a little extra attention will go a long way in keeping your favorite pieces looking and feeling their best.

COTTON CARE

To keep your cotton items looking fresh and feeling soft, we suggest a gentle machine wash at 40°C with similar colors. Turning them inside out before washing helps protect any prints and ensures the colors stay vibrant. After washing, you can either tumble dry on low heat to maintain the fabric’s softness, or simply air dry them for a more eco-friendly option. By following these simple steps, you’ll help your cotton pieces stay just as cozy and beautiful as the day you got them.

WOOL CARE

For your wool items, a little extra care goes a long way in keeping them cozy and long-lasting. While they can be machine washed at 30°C on a wool program, we actually recommend air drying them as often as possible instead of washing – it’s a gentle way to freshen them up without wear. If washing is necessary, use a wool detergent without enzymes and wash inside out to protect prints and colors. Avoid the dryer, as wool prefers to dry naturally, keeping its softness and warmth intact for years to come.

KAPOK CARE

Kapok is a delicate, natural fiber, so it’s best to wash your duvet only when necessary. When washing, use 40°C and an eco-friendly detergent without enzymes or bleach. Avoid fabric softener. After washing, spin at 1200 RPM to remove excess water, and dry immediately in a dryer at medium heat with dryer balls to speed up drying and redistribute the fibers. Check after 40 minutes, fluff the filling by hand, and repeat until the duvet is slightly damp. Then, hang it to air dry completely. With this care, your kapok duvet will stay soft and cozy.
